Studied dentistry in Berlin. This was followed by two years as an assistant, a doctorate and four years as a dentist in private practice in Berlin. In 1997, she took over the practice on Eppendorfer Weg in Hamburg. Certificates for postgraduate further training specialising in prosthetics and aesthetic dentistry.
